Save Game Before Dune contains a selection of tracks I've been working on for the upcoming record "Reading Dune and Watching Porn" (which is planned for the end of 2020).
It was a psychological challenge to release some of the tracks BEFORE the achievement of the new album. Why is it so ? Well, because as a listener I like to discover each record as a whole and let its story unfold during the full listening. However, I daily meditate on mortality so I thought it was interesting to document some of the achievements in progress instead of waiting for the full LP to be released... just in case I would die before I could finish the LP.
Keep in mind this EP is a glimpse into what's coming next. That's why all tracks are labelled "EP version". Architectures and Planetary are almost in their definitive form but other tracks may see various changes until they land on "Reading Dune". Maybe they won't even appear on the album. So this EP is, in its own right, a whole.
Finally, I would like to emphasize that Architectures of Wilderness is deeply inspired by the work of Stéphane Picq and Philippe Ulrich.

All songs composed, produced and performed by Empty Shell Axiom.
We, electronic musicians, sometimes have the bias of focusing on textures over songwriting. Defrag doesn't. Float reaches the perfect balance where song crafting converges with sound design. A gem ! Empty Shell Axiom
Though it's not FLA most typical LP, Civilization is my favorite. The reason is simple : alongside Caustic Grip and Warmech, it's their best record. Empty Shell Axiom
A deep synthwave trip into a blighted neon dystopia where androids and doomsday cults wreak havoc. Flashy, imaginative work from James Kent. Bandcamp New & Notable May 5, 2016
